Imran Khan Foundation USA Funds First of Its Kind Seed Distribution Program in Pakistan

IKF USA reimburses IKF Pakistan $5.5 million for its flagship program which reached over a million people in 1000 villages that were worst hit by the mega floods. Under the program 2,41,000 bags of quality wheat seed of “Sehar Variety” were distributed to 1,31,000 poor farmers in Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtoon Kha, Gilgit/Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

IKF’s Seed Distribution program after the floods achieved the distinction of being the first of its kind in Pakistan by a philanthropic and humanitarian foundation. The program has been satisfactorily audited by A.F. Ferguson & Co, a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

This successful program was possible due to the generous contributions of the donors in USA

and around the world for this great humanitarian cause.

IKF USA looks forward to the continued patronage of their donors and well wishers.
