I request to Imran Khan Foundition please visit area. The marginalized sections of society suffer the most. Poverty and malnutrition compound the problems. In many families, women and girls fetch water for the family every day from a long distance, This takes hours, depriving them of profitable working time or education. Constant lifting and carrying of heavy water pots cause health problems, particularly among pregnant women. 89 per cent underground water in Thar was not fit for human consumption because of fluoride contamination, whereas people had no other choice but to consume water with fluoride up to 20,000ppm. Fluorosis, a disease caused by high intakes of fluoride, is becoming endemic in Tharparkar with more than 250 of 950 people in Samoon Rind village Taluka Chacharo District Tharparkar

District Tharparkar Desert Area Fluoride problem .
Fluorosis, a disease caused by high intakes of fluoride, is becoming endemic in Tharparkar with more than 250 of 950 people in Samoon Rind village having developed bone deformities, skeletal and dental fluorosis due to consumption of groundwater with high levels of fluoride. In the absence of public water supply, people were compelled to use groundwater, which was brackish with high concentration of fluoride when surface water dried up, he said. Fluoride causes dental and skeletal fluorosis, osteoscalerosis, thyroid, and kidney problems when its concentration exceeds 1.5 mg/L in drinking water and the intake of excessive fluoride leads to chronic bone and joint deformations in skeletal fluorosis, for which early symptoms include sporadic pain and stiffness of joints and finally the spine, major joints and muscles, damaging the nervous system, he said. Healthcare is a major issue in Thar. According to him around 89 per cent underground water in Thar was not fit for human consumption because of fluoride contamination, whereas people had no other choice but to consume water with fluoride up to 20,000ppm. The WHOs maximum limit was 1500ppm. The line departments had failed in taking the notice and were not even bothered to pluck them out of their misery. research on Occurrence, distribution and origin of fluoride-rich groundwater in the Thar desert that the samples had fluoride values exceeding the limit of 1.5 mg/L as prescribed by the WHO

It is undoubtedly a grave situation. Nevertheless there is an opportunity to wipe out feudalism from Pakistan when the water recedes. Just wanted to share an idea..if you agree please elaborate how it might be possible. I pass on the torch!
I have read thoroughly thousand of Comments in good words for Imran Khan, the revolutionary leader as he brought in the Pakistan Cricket Team. The thing is that we all support him but when the days election come ahead we vote those as we before..Some of the people are of the point of view that Mr.Khan will be the same as the other politicians if he is permitted a chance of premiership…I 100 % disagree with all those baseless statements. You haven’t tried a man, you haven’t give a chance to him and you are commenting what a non sense…Look I will simply pull out some of the qualities and practicality within the personality of the Great Khan..He is running social services institutions e.g Shaukat Khanam, He is running a university Nemal, he is running his own foundation, Imran Khan Foundation, He bring the world cup in 19992 from the center of the world…so on so on so on..At least he can speak very delicately, wisely, visionally, supisticated, argumnetally rather than Zardari and all the others..If a man dont have any vision, dont have any thinking or even dont have any mind or policy how do you expect to lead 20 crore nation, lead the country, and work for the country..So come to front despite verbally supporting him and lets prove him in the upcoming election, as the only true revolutionary leader…

well,i really dont know ,as to weather its appropriate or not at this hour of time ,where the country is ruined by the devastating floods,which has brought miseries to the peaple who were already in grip of extreme conditions.
but,neverthless the real problems of our country are set aside by the very fabric of deterioration ,degradation n decomposition.
i m surprised,when going through the talk shows of our ever hawkish media,that does not hesitate to introduce the same beat every now & then.And specially some of very famous intellectuals conducting these shows.we dont mind that,as after all we r the same folk,never try to come out of this mismerism & romanticism.the quality and the training of all the channels is a question mark.
mind u,u prepare the same cader which u want to reach through ur intellectual input.
and that is a dangerous approach.there is no question that exept for few minority of individual,we all are more than nationalists n patriotic.
floods devastation will be subsided by the same pakistanians.no dought,an uphill task,but i m sure we will overcome it.

I just want to submit that if Imran Khan Foundation establish an account with the westren union in pakistan then it will help the donors abroad in general but especialy in canada because Branches of Westren Union operation within the Canada Safeway Grocery Stores are not Charging any Service Fee on the Money being sent to Pakistan Right now. So with the account with Westren Union it will be lot easy for us in Canada to send money to the man we trust.
